As you may be aware from our previous blog entry, the Valerie Manor care team and management were finalists in the RBS Allcora Excellence in Care Awards 2008. We were selected for two categories; Excellence in Entrepreneurial Achievement sponsored by Pinkertons – and also in the group of finalists for the overall Outstanding Contribution, sponsored by the Royal Bank of Scotland. Although we did not win the awards I am pleased to announce we were runners-up. I'm extremely proud of my team; being selected as finalists is an achievement in itself. Well done to all!
