A festival atmosphere pervaded the air at Valerie Manor on Sunday 29^th June when the dancers of Lets Dance! (Hassocks) treated our residents and their families to an afternoon of Maypole and Country Dancing. The glorious weather encouraged a great crowd who enjoyed the festivities with cream teas and choc ices, amidst the picturesque grounds of the Manor.

Bowls and Hoopla were the order of the day today as some of the residents enjoyed morning coffee outside and played games in the garden!...

One of our residents celebrated her birthday on Thursday and we tried our best to do it with style. Presents and chocolate cake were enough to bring cheer all around the living room! (and chocolaty fingers!)

Apologies for the delay in posting a new article. Valerie Manor has been buzzing with activity over the last 3 weeks and much has been done in the way of training.

As part of the ongoing personal development of staff, the carers at Valerie Manor have taken part in more training sessions including Health and Safety and are continuing their Medicines and Control of Infection and Contamination NVQ level 2 courses. A very busy time for all taking part but well worth the hard work!
