Activities coordinator Robin today led a flexibility class – movement to music from your chair! This was enjoyed in the lounge by several of the residents and their visitors. It was lovely to see the residents enjoying themselves whilst exercising and encouraging a range of movements for their hands and arms.

Today all staff took part in their annual infection control training and have a packed few months still to come with further study days. One of these includes a whole day on the protection of vulnerable adults.

I am proud to say that all the staff that are undertaking the level two NVQ courses in medication and infection control are progressing well and most of the staff have now applied to undertake their NVQ level II in healthcare which will be a great achievement for them all. Well done to all!
