I’m extremely pleased to tell you that the Valerie Manor quilt, along with a scarf and hat that resident knitting enthusiast Chris has made, has been donated to the Worthing Churches Homeless Project. I’m sure you will all agree that it’s a great cause. All the residents involved are chuffed to bits that their efforts will help provide a little extra warmth and comfort this winter for somebody in need.

Following our appearance in the local newspaper, we are very lucky to have been contacted by a keen knitter in the community. She is going to visit Valerie Manor on a regular basis and knit us squares so that we can work together in providing the homeless with more blankets, scarf’s and hats in the future.
