Sadly, Alayna is leaving Valerie Manor at the
end of this week. As you would have seen from previous Blog entries Alayna has been a
valued member of the team and has contributed so much to the residents,
relatives and other staff at Valerie Manor. I would like to take this
opportunity to wish Alayna all the best for the future and thank her for all her
hard work during the time I have been at the Manor.
I will be taking on the role of Infection Control Champion in the short term to ensure continuity in the Cleaner, Safer Homes campaign and another member of staff will be taking on the role of dementia champion with my support as I have just completed my degree level course in person centred dementia care.
I would like to say a huge thank you to Michele Stubbs, our local trainer for
some of our mandatory training at Valerie Manor. I attended the
