Care Quality Commission

From the 1st April 2009 the Care Quality Commission will bring a new approach to the independent regulation of Health and Social Care, whether in the public, voluntary or private sector. Their predecessors for Social Care were the Commission for Social Care Inspection (CSCI) that I have referred to in the past and who inspected Valerie Manor in 2008. It will bring together common quality standards across health and social care and have a focus on the joining up of health and social care for the first time.

Please find a link to the new website below where you can find out more information about the new regulatory body. I will of course keep you updated of any changes relevant to Valerie Manor on a regular basis.
