For the past few weeks I've been busily preparing for my forthcoming Show... "Let's Dance! The Musicals". We always raise funds for Children’s
Charities and this year the proceeds are being presented to Ovingdean Hall School for
the Deaf. There are abut 230 pupils involved in the show from 3 years to adult. Zoe, Emma and Lucy are
bringing some of the ladies from Valerie Manor to see the Matinee Performance. Those unable to join us will be
able to see the DVD after the show. Some pupils have actually learnt Sign Language to accompany a song
they are singing and I hope to bring some along to Valerie Manor to entertain soon."Ovingdean Hall School works with some of the UK's most severely and profoundly deaf children. Pupils are encouraged to develop their listening and speaking through the use of hearing technology (digital hearing aids or cochlear implants) and speech and language therapy. Our team of teachers and speech and language therapists strive to equip our pupils with the skills and qualifications to succeed in the hearing world."
