I would like to introduce another new member to the care team here at the Manor. Maria is also a local lady and has already enjoyed one of our themed days with the residents (John Wayne’s Birthday) - joining in by donning a cowboy hat! - and is looking forward to getting more involved with the activities and outings. Welcome Maria.

You may have noticed a few new faces recently here at Valerie Manor. Following Alayna's departure in April which created an opening for a new team member, I have also increased staffing levels due to the annual leave entitlement increasing in April 2009 to 5.6 weeks per person, creating more work hours to fill. You will see one more new member of staff in June, our team will then be complete again and I am confident and excited following the interviews that we will continue to have a fantastic team who will thrive to meet the needs of the residents at Valerie Manor.
