Well, what glorious weather we had for the Maypole dancing on Sunday! Thank you to Mum (Robin) and all the dancers and their families of ‘Let’s Dance’ Hassocks for the Country Dancing and Maypole display that the residents and their families thoroughly enjoyed. The event was finished by enjoying choc ices, ice lollies and cream teas in the grounds. Thank you also to the staff at Valerie Manor for all their hard work during the day. The residents also assisted Robin at the end of the day by rolling the Maypole ropes which my Nan used to do for us. We look forward to watching the DVD that Dad (John) took of the day soon!
