Well, at long last the Jackdaws have gone and the chimney has been knocked down! It really is full steam ahead now I hope... we did have a little scare when the archaeologists found a ‘clay pot’ on site when the trenches were dug for them, thankfully the analysis came to nothing so work is continuing!

We are all very excited as we have recently had an artist’s impression hand painted so that everyone can see what the extension will look like in a few months time. I must say, the finished result did bring a smile to my face and the residents are really looking forward to the end product. I now hope to have good news progress reports every week!
