You may be aware that each year the Herald/Gazette Newspaper hosts the Community Stars Awards where outstanding individuals and unsung heroes have the chance to shine.

'You cannot help but admire volunteers who dedicate their time and efforts to helping others but never ask for a penny. But how often do you hear about their hard work? We want to change that – and you can help'.
Everyone at Valerie Manor decided that nominating our special volunteers Marmalade and Derrie & Lola would be a great way of showing our appreciation for the time they give up for those here at Valerie Manor. They really do all brighten up the lives of the residents and we can’t thank them enough for their kindness. Good luck, and thank you so much!
